Mango lassi



Mango Lassi is yogurt based drink made with fruits, yogurt, cream, spices, milk, water and sugar. Mango lassi can be made using fresh mango fruit or mango pulp. 

Lassi can be made in many different flavors as sweet, salty, mint lassi, fruit lassi made with fruits like mango, banana, strawberry, chocolate lassi and lassi made using nuts and so on. Here goes the recipe of mango lassi..

Ingredients:

Mango pulp - 1 cup

Curd - 1/2 cup

Sour cream-2 tbsp

Sweetened Condensed milk-1/2 cup

Cardamom powder- a pinch(optional)

Pistachio-5(chopped)

Water - 1/2 glass

Ice cubes- as needed (optional)


Method:

  • Add all the ingredients to blender one by one.
  • Add water as needed to the consistency of smoothie. 
  • Blend everything to fine purée. 
  • Add chopped nuts and ice cubes. 


Note:

  • Adding sour cream will give more taste to lassi. 
  • Use almond milk or coconut milk for variation.
  • Lassi can be refrigerated for upto 24 hours.
